Sunlight, Wood, and Space

This series began as an exploration of how much I could create with just the basics. The goal was to capture a peaceful feeling through simple design choices while cutting out unnecessary clutter.

Rather than relying on a complex set, I mainly worked with a single light source, allowing it to naturally shape each frame. I find this method effective because it forces careful attention to the composition, making every decision intentional.

A quiet palette, steady lighting, simple shapes, and subtle natural tones formed the foundation of every frame. By repeating this pattern, the series established a relaxed cohesiveness that tied the work together as a whole.

Modeling and geometry assembly, including UV preparation, were done in Cinema 4D. From there, the assets were brought into Unreal Engine, where the environment was built, materials were applied, and lighting was set up. The scene was then converted for UE's Path tracer and rendered to produce the final frames, with final adjustments made in Photoshop.
